Specialty Beer List
(List is structured Light, Medium to Heavy Bodied)
Arrogant Bastard
22oz - 7.2% abv - 90 pts/Rate - Beer Stone Brewing, Escondido
CA
The name says it all; if you like little, yellow, fizzy
beers: You’re Not Worthy
The light amber color and creamy foam has notes of the
hops that are imparted with the right blend of malt and
hops to give you a grapefruit nose and a clean finish
that belies its arrogance.
14
Saison Dupont
25oz - 7.7% abv - 96pts/Rate - Beer Brasserie Dupont,
Wallonia Belgium
Snappy, yeasty, with a clean, bright quality. The undisputed
classic of the style. It comes from an artisanal brewery
that is also a working farm (eggs are sold in the ‘executive’
offices!) and produces beers with exquisitely hand-made
character and unruly clumpy yeast.
18
Hennepin
25oz - 7.7% abv - 94pts/Rate - Beer Brewery Ommegang,
Cooperstown NY
Raw and complex yet ohh soo drinkable. Impossible to tell
it comes from NY in a blind tasting. Off sweet with a
full floral hop finish.
15
Golden Monkey
25oz - 9.5% abv - 95pts/Rate - Beer Victory Brewing Co.,
Downington PA
Strong and Sensual, with abundant herbal, fruity notes.
A powerful lightly golden ale with the richness of German
malts and Belgian yeast
16
Lozen Boer
25oz - 10% abv - Deproef Brouwerij, Lochristi Belgium
Cloudy red, huge creamy-beige head settles down to drippy
tears of lace. Sweet, dark, ripe fruit aroma with lots
of rum raisin cookie character. A beautiful Abby ale.
13
Dragon’s Milk
22oz - 9%abv - 87pts/Rate - Beer New Holland, Holland
MI
A bourbon barrel-aged strong ale, with a soft and rich
caramel-malt character. Intermingled with deep vanilla
tones dancing in an oak bath.
18
Three Philosophers
25oz - 9.8% abv - 97pts/Rate - Beer Brewery Ommegang,
Cooperstown NY
A collaboration between the head brewers at Ommegang,
Duval and Lindemans. Three Philosophers produces a wine-like
ruby fill in the snifter and a nose of malt, dark fruits,
vanilla and sweet cherries…But there’s more…coffee,
currants, brandied raisins, and chocolate – all
blending nicely across the palate.
17
Rodenbach Grand Cru
25oz - 6.5% abv - 97pts/Rate - Beer Brouwerij Rodenbach,
Belgium
Sour Flemish ale, aged 18 months in oak barrels. Not for
the faint of heart. World Beer Champion in the Sour Ale
Division for its complexity. Bright and tart, with hints
of ripe berries and oak.
